The Problem:
Shovel teeth, nails, nuts and bolts, and the like were continually
damaging a crusher processing limestone at American Cement
Company.

The Equipment:
Eriez Suspended Electromagnet

The Solution: The cement company installed
an Eriez 30-inch x 55-inch Suspended Electromagnet over
a conveyor. It replaced an elaborate metal detection system
provided by another company that wasn't doing the job.

The Result:
All tramp iron was effectively and quickly removed at the
rate of 400 tons per hour.
