steep sided hopper, among other features, ensures safety while
promoting complete bulk bag discharge. We offer a variety
of models which accommodate different bag styles. Control
and Metering has refined methods of handling lined bags, including
a completely sealed system suitable for the food and pharmaceutical
industries.

60 SERIES
The FLO
60 Bulk Bag Dischargers are designed to handle difficult
flowing ingredients. Different models handle lined and unlined
bags. The 60° steep
sloped hopper promotes a high degree of dust containment.
Patented tensioners ensure that liners are held securely
and do not discharge with the product.

FLO
CLEAN and FLO KNIFE
The FLO CLEAN and
FLO KNIFE Bulk Bag Dischargers are designed to empty bulk
bags that do not have outlet spouts. The FLO CLEAN is used
with "porthole" style lined bags where the knife
penetrates the liner. The FLO KNIFE is used with flat bottom
bags where the knife penetrates the bag. The 60°
hopper
promotes ingredient flow and the dust membrane and dual dust
vents provide a high degree of dust containment. |

ISO
FLO™
The ISO FLO™
Bulk Bag Dischargers provide complete dust containment.
Designed for use with dusty, hazardous, toxic or sanitary
ingredients, the ISO FLO™
clamps the outlet spout of
the bag or liner within an isolation chamber. The ISO FLO™
40 is used with easy to moderate
flowing ingredients and the ISO FLO™ 60
is used with difficult flowing ingredients.

| FLEXIBLE
CONVEYOR |
The
flexible conveyor easily and inexpensively conveys powders,
flakes, granules and crystals. 3”,
4”, 5” and 6” diameter conveyors are available.
This range of conveyors coupled with an extensive list of
options can handle virtually any conveying requirement. Portable
units are available as are configurations designed to integrate
with bulk bag dischargers and fillers. The
flexible conveyor is an economical method of transferring
dry ingredients. It requires little maintenance and is easy
to use. |

OPTIONS |
Bulk Bag Squeezer
The hydraulic bulk bag squeezer is designed
to break up ingredient that has formed a solid block in
a bulk bag. Ingredients such as cocoa and adipic acid can
become so compacted that they cannot be discharged. The
bag squeezer provides a quick, easy and sage means of preconditioning
these hard to discharge ingredients.
Flo
Choke
The Flo Choke is designed to close off the
outlet spout of a bulk bag thereby allowing the partially
emptied bag to be easily removed from the discharger. Two
types of Flo choke are available. The Sanitary Flo Choke
is typically used in the food and pharmaceutical industries
or with very dusty ingredients. The cable operated Flo Choke
is used where sanitary handling requirements are less stringent
and dusting is not excessive.
Bulk
Bag Folder
The Bulk Bag Folder allows an operator to
easily fold an empty bag in a dust free manner. Simple to
use, the Bag Folder produces neatly folded bulk bags after
the dust-laden air trapped in the empty bag is extracted
via a dust collection system (by others).
Liner
Tensioners
Control and Metering offers three types of
liner tensioner. The hand crank model is simple to use and
holds the liner in place preventing it from discharging
with the ingredient. The pneumatic rack and pinion style
partially winds up the liner during discharge ensuring that
the ingredient is completely discharged. The clutch style
tensioner winds the liner continually and is used with the
Iso Flo dischargers.
