Selecting
the right filter medium depends on specific operating conditions.
Dollinger therefore offers a range of over 200 different filter
media. These include natural and synthetic materials, such
as polyester, glass fiber (woven or needle-felted), Teflon,
cotton and stainless steel. We supply media for retentions
up to 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns.
One-piece
radial-fin design
One-piece
radial-fin design The one-piece radial-fin design of Dollinger
filter elements has many advantages over the conventional
multi-cartridge option. It provides a larger filtration area,
extra dirt holding capacity, and lower pressure drop. In addition,
it results in longer service life and greater ease of maintenance.
Fiberloc©
filter media: A technological breakthrough in high-temperature
filtration
For high-temperature applications, woven glass has been the
industry standard for many years. However, glass fibers tend
to migrate downstream, causing contamination and other problems.
The Dollinger research teams came up with a true technological
breakthrough: Fiberloc© 063 & 195 filter media. Comparative
tests have shown these new media to outperform woven glass,
time after time – with no evidence of migration. Fiberloc©
media are rated at 99.9% efficiency of 3 microns and 98% of
1.5 microns, at temperatures up to 700° F. Their structure
allows up to three times greater dirt-holding capacity than
conventional media. Just recently, Dollinger introduced the
latest Fiberloc© breakthrough. Fiberloc 197© filter media
has the same high efficiency rating at a temperature limit
of 1000° F. |
