The Metalfab Posibin™ provides positive, problem-free
discharge of difficult to handle materials - in a variety
of densities and particle sizes. From micron-size powders
to fibrous substances, materials flow freely, on demand,
on a first-in, first-out basis.
The Posibin™ consists of a static cylindrical fitted
with the unique Metalfab Bin
Activator. This vibrating motorized unit, attached to
the bottom of the static bin by vibration isolator equipped
solid steel suspension arms and flexible reinforced sleeve,
provides continuous movement of the product in the bin.
A conical primary baffle, mounted within the bin activator
moves horizontally with the vibrating bin activator, keeping
the contents in continuous motion and eliminating potential
flow-stop-pages such as bridging, ratholing, etc.
A secondary conical baffle, located at the final outlet,
moves at a slightly different amplitude, to prevent jamming
and compaction in that critical area.
Two Posibin™ models, with capacities from 3 to 750
cu. ft. handle materials with bulk densities from 60 to
200 lbs./cu. ft. The larger units utilize the standard bin
activator suspension arms. The Posibins may also be suspended
from overhead steel. Operation is almost completely noiseless.
Materials of construction include carbon steel, 304 or 316
stainless, or special coatings when required. Standard motors
are totally enclosed, non-ventilated. Optional motors include
explosion-proof or special voltage - which are all available
in accordance with customer specifications.
The
Metalfab Live Bin consists of a round metal bin with a single
baffle supported immediately above the outlet. The bin and
its entire contents are vibrated horizontally in response
to the forces of the unbalanced weights of the vibrator.
The Live Bin comes with its own support frame. And, like
the Bin Activator and Posibin™, the Live Bin will
ensure the uninterrupted flow of material without bridging
or ratholing, upon demand. Metalfab Live Bins are ideally
suited for both sanitary and pressure applications since
there is no gap to be closed off between a non-vibrated
and a vibrated section. Sizes range from 3 cubic foot capacity
to 100 cubic foot capacity.
