FELT MEDIA
Felt media is available in polyester and polypropylene. It provides depth filtration and has a high solid’s collection capacity. All Tate Andale felts are singed (this is where the fibre hairs are melted by the application of high heat) on one side to eliminate fibre migration. Micron retensions are available from 1/4 to 800.

MULTIFILAMENT MESH
Multifilament media consists of several smaller diameter threads twisted together to form a single strand. Micron retensions are available from 100 to 800 microns.

MONOFILAMENT MESH
Each strand of our monofilament mesh consists of a single untwisted thread. Micron retensions are available from 5 to 800 microns.

• COVERED BAGS
Covered filter bags are available with the cover being either Cerex, nylon multifilament or nylon monofilament. The cover completely encapsulates the felt bag and contains any fibre that might separate from the filter bag.

• OIL BAGS
Our line of oil absorbing bags are designed for fast and efficient absorption of oil and petroleum based liquids from paints, greases, coatings or other fluid streams. These bags are made from a non-woven polyolefin that will quickly absorb up to 20 times its own weight. The material is specially formulated for long-term storage without deterioration due to temperature, humidity or pest infestation.

• MULTI-LAYERED BAGS
Multi-Layered bags are manufactured with up to 8 layers of felt or mesh of selected micron ratings. These bags provide both a finer degree of filtration and a greater depth of filtration. These bags are particularly useful in the filtration of viscous liquids.

• OPEN FILTRATION, TIE-ON AND DRAW STRING BAGS
The tie-on bag is simply affixed to a pipe with a strong piece of wire; the draw string bag has its own draw string to affix it with.

• ADAPTER HEAD FILTRATION
An adapter head simply screws to any standard pipe size up to 2" NPT. A filter bag is attached to the adapter head without the use of tools for a simple and secure fit. Recommended for use only on pressures up to 10 PSIG. For pressures above 10 PSIG, a 316L Stainless steel #10 mesh restrainer basket should be used.

• THREAD
Only thread which is compatible with the material of the filter bag is used, giving total confidence in both thermal and chemical compatibility. All threads used are silicone free.

• COLLAR CONSTRUCTION STYLE
Bags are available with cadmium plated carbon steel rings, stainless steel rings, stainless steel bands and polypropylene rings, with or without handles.

• POSIGUARD
The PosiGuard flanged bags employ a top lip for added convenience and positive sealing and have built-in handles for ease of removal, making bag changes easier and cleaner. The PosiGuard flange design locates the bag in the basket and locks it in place for positive sealing. The PosiGuard flange is available with any of the filter media and covers, and is available for any standard size housing. Manufactured from 100% polypropylene.
