Testing
Procedures Assure Accurate Performance:
Van Air replacement filter elements are tested for both
efficiency and pressure loss. This involves the use of a
photometer to measure and confirm particle retention efficiency.
We have also verified oil carryover performance on a Granstrom
test rig, a method developed to meet the most stringent
international standards for any filter element. The Gransrom
method is used in accordance with PNEUROP Recommendation
6611/1984 Part 2 at the manufacturer's specified maximum
rated working flow for continuous operation of each filter
model.
